I promise I will get back to my regularly scheduled writerly updates soon. May was kind of a crazy month for me, but I’m getting back on track!

This February my husband and I took an amazing 4-day trip to Paris, a city I had dreamed of visiting since I was about 11 or 12. It was every bit as magical as I imagined it to be and more, though that could have been my massive fever talking. I got the flu at the end of our trip and didn’t get to enjoy Valentine’s Day in the City of Love as I had planned…fancy dinner and drinks at the Eiffel Tower turned into pizza and mini-bar drinks in our room. Even so, I am firmly in love with France and would die to go back.
